During the preseason he is at 85 to 87 mph with his fastball. He needs work on a curve ball or slider, but makes up for it with a split finger fastball that is in the neighborhood of 74-77. He also has a change-up that is at 70-72. He has 3 pitches and makes him a quality starter. In the field Cooper plays outfield and 1st base. Very athletic.
