One of the reasons that my son is playing college baseball for this gentleman. It's about more than athletics, winning ballgames or getting to the "next level."
Ubelievable example of what type of man we want to turn our young players over to when it is time for them to leave home.. There is more to life than baseball and this coach shows it in everyway..
I wil be honored to meet him in May when they play WVU if you Roger or Bob can arrange that.

As a player for Coach Skole, I know that it is an honor to play for him. For high school players looking into college programs, do not overlook ETSU and Coach Skole, he's a great coach.

My son was recruited by ETSU this year, and on our visit to J.C. we met and talked with Coach Skole. We met with him in his office, we visited and had dinner with players and his family in his home, and when we got back to our hotel the 2nd night my wife asked me what I thought........my reply was that I knew we could trust this man with our son. What more can a parent ask?
This seems a hollow endorsment in that my son chose another school that he felt fit his own personality/skill/ambitions a little better, however, it does not deminish my perception of Coach Skole (or Nate Goulet - his Asst). What you see is what you get....your path is clear, you will know where you stand, and you will be held accountable......and I passed that on to another parent who's son did chose ETSU. Coach Skole is taking the steps to make ETSU a competitive team for the future...in the mean time your son would be in good hands.
