I have it on good authority that HiwasseeVol attended the Tennessee - South Carolina game last night.

He was seen sporting a shirt with a power-T emblazoned on the chest.

Fortunately for HV, Bill Higdon did not recognize him or it's possible HV would have been asked to leave the facility.

I had a nice father/son baseball outing and I noted you did as well. I had the pleasure of sitting with the SC fans with a friend of mine from SC whose son is a freshman on the Gamecock baseball team. Our sons played against each other for years in the summer and we have enjoyed following those players that went on to play in college.

Hochevar started slow, but was dominant down the stretch. Watson looked very good in his closing roll.

I told Bill Higdon that I got into the game for two cans of Spam! The Gamecocks fans were very nice to me.

Vols sweep the Gamecocks. Excellent starting pitching this weekend.


HV there's still room on the bandwagon.


btw - Our sons got together for awhile during the game. Adam told me later: "Dad, Wes is one guy I really miss playing baseball with."
