My son is scheduled to play in a tournament this weekend, but I am unable to locate where the games are to be played. The sponsoring web site (Southeastern Baseball, Inc, Gerald Patterson) states that the games will be played "at the Sports Complex in Jefferson City Tennessee" - but I can find no reference to such a complex on the city's web site. Google brings up zero.

Before you ask why I didn't get this information from the coach - that will have to go into another thread.

There used to be a website for the place. However, after reading your post I did a Google search and didn't see anything either.

The complex is actually located between Jefferson City and Dandridge, not too far off of I-40, exit 417.

There are a number of motels, etc. at the exit. There's also plenty of lodging at the Gatlinburg exit (407) back in Knoxville (about 45 minutes from the complex).

From I-40 exit 417, go North on Hwy 92 toward Jefferson City. You'll crest a hill and go about 1.8 miles from the exit. On your left will be Jefferson Co. High School. Just past the high school is West Dumplin Valley Road. Turn left onto West Dumplin Valley. The complex is about a mile or so on the left.

The web site I have is www.gpsebb.com. Our hotel is at that Dandridge exit, so looks like we guessed right. Thanks so much for the directions.

We always stayed (parents) at a Hampton over in Morristown which was very nice. I haven't been there for baseball in a couple of years though. Morristown had plenty of restaurant choices too. Of course, perhaps Dandridge has more options by now.

The complex was always one of my favorite places to play. Nothing fancy... but just had that field of dreams feel about it. Smile

You should have a good time there. The times my son played there, they had some really good teams/competition. Nice area. You can catch a Smokies game, if they are in town, do the Dollywood thing, mountains, etc.

Dandridge exit off I-40 was a good choice. It took about 4 minutes to get to the baseball complex, and was very convenient to the mountain activities we did. Thanks for the help. We had a very nice weekend.
