Check out www.gpsebb.com. They have a picture on the site of the park. Not a bad place to play ball for the area, especially given how protective everyone seems to be about their fields.

As many times as we have played there, I never heard of anyone winning anything. Was there a trophy? I have never seen trophies or anything and we have gone undefeated several times. Maybe this is something new. Many times we do not even play everyone or play the same team twice. I don't see how he could give a trophy since it is always pre-scheduled and not a real tournament format. Just wondering.

After having been there too, I agree with you JC. Although we did very well there were teams we never played, no brackets per se. It was a great time and very good competition.

My son played in Gerald Patterson's tournaments at least 4 times and they were given a team trophy when they won the tournament. But who really wants to keep a big trophy or even haul them home. We would leave them with the hotel as a thank you for their hospitality.

Was I right beezer? Neat experience in the middle of nowhere. We even had a cow get on the field one time on the lower field. That was fun. I was blown away that teams and scouts would show up at a place like that. Side note. It is for sale for over $1.5 million. I understand that a few years ago it was in great shape but Gerald had a heart attack and it has gone down since then.

I have been told the same thing about the field being for sale. However, I was told that the complex was valued at only around $375,000.00 and no one will even make an offer. We were told that Gerald really does not want to sale the complex and only placed a high price on the place to get his wife off of his back about trying to retire.

Played there at least 3 times over Spring Break. Great setting. The fields have not been in as good of shape the last couple times. He has not been able to work on them as in the past since his stroke, but he is a great Baseball guy. Plus when we were down there, we were able to play some great teams, teams that would have not even thought about playing us in Ohio.
