I must echo Biz's comments on the Gov facility. They have a really top notch field. I would also like to take this opportunity to mention that Doyle Holden of Diamond Dreams Athletic Fields is responsible for the the facility at William Blount. Doyle is also building the fields at Alcoa. The softball field will be ready this spring and the baseball field will be ready for the 2006 season. I have been over and seen the fields and it is amazing at the work that Doyle has done. We will have an excellent facility at Alcoa. If you are in the Knoxville metro area and need someone to "upgrade" or take care of your athletic fields, I would certainly recommend Doyle. His number is 865-250-1041. BTW I am NOT on commission. biglaugh

I should put you on commission with a sales pitch like that, Thanks!! There has been a lot of planning and work by other people at Alcoa before I started working on the fields. When complete Alcoa will have one of the top facilities in the state.

Thanks for the comments about WB, a lot of work and donations from a number of people over the years have made WB a top notch field. A special thanks to coach Puleo and the Booster club for all the funds they raised for the renovations.

The last nine years at WB working on the field has been great, The people & players from other teams have been great also. The first son graduated in 2000 the second is a senior this year. After this year what will I do with all my time. I know that the WB field will still need some TLC and I’m sure that there are others out there also.

So the next dream begins;
“Diamond Dreams Athletic Fields”
