Riverdale,Oakland, and Blackman are a three headed monster . Cookeville and Lebanon are definately going to surprise teams with their improvement. Anyone playing 7 AAA teams must bring their "A"game.

NRAGARM:
What will Laverne have this season? Did they graduate many from last year?

Sorry to say i'm not as familier with returning Lavergne players ,but last i heard they had lost one of there starters to arm surgery. I can say Smyrna is another school on the upswing.Smyrna has a super set of junior pitchers in Williams and Weaver with improved hitting. If they dont have injuries to Gannon and Robertson that I was told are injured they should be dangerous.

7-AAA certainly appears to be formidable in terms of 1-5. I saw many of this district's players in the Blue-Grey at UT and was impressed.

I'm not sure if 4-AAA is as strong 1-5, but if you go as deep as 1-7, I would have to put in a plug. Farragut, of course, is at the top. Both William Blount and Maryville were ranked last year and return many starters. South Doyle, Bearden, and West have potential if their pitching staffs meet expectations. The other two teams in the district, Heritage and Sevier County, will also be competitive.

Other schools in this district have come to the realization that they will have to work harder in order to compete with Farragut. This appears to be happening with new coaches and an increased emphasis on off-season work.
