Florida Atlantic is SEBaseball.com's preseason choice to win the Atlantic Sun Conference. FAU led the predictions as the four state of Florida schools placed first through fourth in the eleven team league. Stetson was a clear second place pick followed by East Tennessee State, Jacksonville, North Florida, Kennesaw State, Campbell, Mercer, Belmont, Gardner-Webb, and Lipscomb.

A fifteen player all-conference team was selected. Stetson's Chris Johnson is SEBaseball.com's Preseason Hitter of the Year. FAU's Mickey Storey is SEBaseball.com's Preseason Pitcher of the Year.

FAU and Stetson each placed three players on the all-Atlantic Sun squad. East Tennessee State, Campbell and Belmont all had two. Mercer, Jacksonville, and North Florida had one each.
