No doubt, there are Tennesseeans "doin' good" across the league.
I'll have to give credit to some of the Vols, though.
Adkins has pitched well enough to have a better record than he does. As a pitcher's dad I understand that win-loss records can be affected by the amount of run support and defensive support you get during your starts.
Simunic and Delmonico both had good years. While they are playing different positions now, Tony's numbers compare favorably with Zach Cozart.
Bizazz, If you remember, I believe that Zac and Cale Iorg were pretty good SS out of high school in 2004. Ray-Bans didn't think Cale could play SS in college, but I guess his freshman year at Alabama might have showed those thoughts to be wrong.
Cale comes back from his mission trip on July 14 and as of now no school has his services locked up. Could Ray-Bans look his way this time?
"If you make every game a life and death proposition, you're going to have problems. For one thing, you'll be dead a lot."
HV, you and I are probably biased (inasmuch as we had sons who were in the 2004 class), but I still believe the Tennessee 04 class was one of the best I've seen.
I'd love to see Cale follow in his brother's footsteps and suit up for the Orange next year.
