What are the opinions of Chattanooga State's Program? How is coach received in the baseball community? How does the upcoming season look for the Chatt State Tigers?

Being from out of state with incoming freshman @ Chatt, I am just curious of what to expect from the Baseball Program there.

Chattanooga State won the conference title last season in regular season play and then went on to win the conference post season tournament - in a very competitive Tennessee Junior College Athletic Association.

This past season Chatt State was an excellent ball club with deep pitching talent and good bats. However, they would allow you stay in the game by making some fielding mistakes.

Coach Greg Dennis will begin his 5th season with the Tigers and has turned this program around. Four consecutive winning seasons and last year they were never out of the top 5 in the National JUCO rankings and spent several weeks ranked #1 Nationally.

Well that's the same thing I hear here in Texas. He left a small legacy in some players minds here. I look forward to following the Tigers this year and hope to attend 15-20 games.

You will probably need to contact the Chat State athletic dept and request one be faxed or mailed.

The best link to JUCO news in the TJCCAA Conference is at the 'Tennessee Baseball Report' website at www.tbca.org
