That is a great question Fungo. It would appear to be only a loser for Tennessee in that they don't prove anything by winning that game. Maybe it is to get their freshman some playing time

Of course it would be a million to one shot, but it only takes one guy (the pitcher) to be really hot on that day, and there could be trouble. Maybe SonofaMoc can rustle up an avatar bet with someone from Lambuth

Lambuth is coached by former Vol John Massey.

They're also a couple of notches above Tennessee Temple, who played the Vols a couple of times last season.

They scheduled the game recently due to the games U Tenn lost to weather the past three weekends....they needed to get some pitchers some innings....

It is what it is. CRD tried to pick up a game over the span of 24 hours after we got back from Myrtle Beach. The game was just to get some pitchers on the mound to throw to somebody who wasnt wearing an orange jersey!

Also, I think we may have picked up a midweek game with Lamar a little later in the year, not sure though. They are a perennial regional qualifier every year.

CD- Didnt have enough time to rustle up a bet for tuesday. Im glad because I may have pressed a little when I got in to pitch.
