Heard the other day that USJ has broke ground on a 1/2 million baseball fieldhouse. A donor approached the school and wanted to build a fieldhouse for the baseball program. Is being built by the home dugout. It will house coaches offices, indoor hitting , indoor pitchin, and locker room for the team. Seating is also being built over the home dugout. It will be ready this spring... Can't wait to see it....

I went by there today and if that Building cost 1/2 million dollars then some of those houses in that area a worth 5 million dollars. I don't think that they spent that must. The building plans must have changed. Alot smaller than what I was looking for but it looks good and I'm sure the USJ players will enjoy it.

I believe the total $$ donated at this time is $480,000,(20 grand shy of 1/2 million). The construction company is buiding it at their cost (son is on the team). I believe it was grandparents of a player that donated the $400,000. This is not the only school in Jackson that has recieved their generosity.
It's just about completed...
