Some good news out of the 2004 Perfect Game World Showcase at Ft Myers, FL.
I heard today that Chris registered a pop time of 1.72 with 86 MPH velocity from catching. I also understand that this just happened to be a new all-time pop time record in Perfect Game's 9 year history.
Looks like the great state of Alabama will be getting a fine catcher.
Congratulations Chris....I know you have worked and continue to work very hard on improving you game. It has paid off.
