About a year ago Danny Clark resigned after 6 years at the head of the Milligan Buffalo Program. Ex Science Hill Coach Bernie Young took the position just before Fall term. Coach Young has cited time demands vs. family as the reason he's stepping down. Assistant Coach (and AD) Ray Smith will be the interim coach until a successor is located.

Biz: I feel your pain. Joey had four different coaches in high school. It's most disconcerting for the players. Frown Hope y'all find someone soon who stays with the program.

It looks like Nathan Meade is going to get a crack at it. Nate graduated from Milligan in 2004 and served as a grad assistant last year. Ray Smith will remain the #1 assistant. Ray also serves as AD and spends his summers managing the Elizabethton Twins. Just too much on the plate for Ray to take the head job.

Nate lacks experience, but knows the players and administration. Good luck to him.
