Has anyone heard about the coaching vacancies at Motlow and Columbia State. Rumors have it that both Coach Rhotan and Painter have stepped down.

I knew of Painter at Columbia...is that news correct on Rhoten?

Columbia St position filled by Kelly Bratton - played there and was an assistant at Martin Methodist... haven't heard a thing about Caoch Rhoton though.........

Coach Ray is seeking reinstatement at Southwest, he was released last week. Article on TBCA website. The school let him and Asst Coach Al Woods go. A meeting was held Thursday. It appears the school and Coach Ray have admitted their differences and maybe seeking a resolution. Coach Ray and Coach Woods are class guys. I hope the best for them and am impressed that the school is possibly reconsidering their decision.

I heard from a very reliable source that a popular AAA Middle Tennessee high school coach may be named the coach at Motlow.

Are sure your he is a "popular Middle Tennessee high school coach," or a guy that is popular because everyone dislikes him. I know who the source is and I believe he has a few enemies but who doesn't?? I think that he may be wise to stick where he is now, just my opinion.

that wouldn't be Mark Pickle would it??? he is a great coach - i have coached against him at Franklin and at Columbia and he is a good one... Johnny Ray is out at SW - 40 applicants no decision as of yet...

Nope not Pickle. He is a good high school coach to say the least. Who are some of the forty applicants does anybody know who the front runner might be??
