My son plays in an ohio little league organization and they claim to be "governed" by Ohio HS baseball rules.

What is the HS rule for a batter throwing a bat incidentally that does not affect the play or touch another player? Is he automatically out?

If it's thrown in temper, he's done. If it's careless/excited he hit the ball, he gets warned. In neither case is it an out.
