What is the correct call?

Play:

Runner on 3B and 2B. No outs. B1 in batters box with no count. The pitch is released and the runner on 3B starts to advance toward home. The catch throws to 3B where the runner off of 3B is now caught in a run down between 3B and home.

During the runner down between 3B and home, the runner on 2B advances to 3B and stands and/or comes in contact with 3B. This action by the 2B runner immediate closes third base to the runner in the run down and initiates an interference call since third base belongs to the runner in the run down.

This initiates an immediate dead ball.

Which is the correction call?

A.) Dead Ball - The runner in the run down is called do to the action of the runner from second standing and/or coming in contact with third base. Plus the runner stating on third base is sent back to second.

B.) Dead Ball - The run standing on third base is called out for interference and the runner in the run down is sent back to third.

C.) Dead Ball - Both runners are call out.

What is the correct call?

There was no interference. The ball is live. If both runners wind up on 3rd base, the trailing runner is out if tagged (no force).

none of the above is correct...

Dash nails the correct call, as I understand the OP...where the above ruling in the OP comes from I have no idea but it isnt from any set of baseball rules I know.

No it doesn't. At least not by any rule set outside of Calvin Ball.

Wrong again.

D.) None of the above. Since this is not a force situaton, the base belong sto the lead runner, and the trailing runner will be out when tagged.

In the OP you seemed to just accept the umpire's actions. What level was this?
