I'll be heading out to Farmington NM August 1 to watch the CMWS and the Midland Redskins attempt to defend their national title from last year. It won't be an easy task but looking forward to a great week of baseball, anyone else gonna be in attendance?

Your in for a real treat. Great tournament and the hometown folks really treat the boys like kings. I'm going to try to make it up for a game (2.5 hrs from ABQ). Are the brackets out yet?

spizzle, agreed....I was fortunate to experience this event last year for the first time and it left a lasting impression on me. One of the best baseball events I've ever attended. I don't see the updated information on the CMWS.org website yet but I'm sure it'll be up this week. I know that the Midland Redskins will play their first game this Friday under the lights for the late game. I'll be flying into ABQ and then will also be making that drive north and I must admit during the day it's a very boring drive but at night, I've never seen a night sky like I saw there last year, WOW !
