My son will be there with the Canes.

Looks like we have East Cobb, Teel Ravens(NJ) and Southwest Florida Baseball U16.

Anyone aware of any strong favorites out of this large group of teams? I know the obvious ones like East Cobbs etc but is there anyone else that will be lights out!

Yes I think the official name is Team Mizuno Edge Elite, but I'm not exactly sure. I am from Parkview, look for #23. Where are you guys from?

My son pitches for Centennial. In the summer he plays for the Georgia Hurricanes. Did you play on the Parkview summer team? If you did, he pitched against you guys in the University of South Carolina showcase at USC.

Just looked it up on the WWBA web site. Looks like he'll be starting against you guys on Friday night. Guess I'll see you then.

No sir, I only play in the spring there and play travel for summer. However, my teammates told me it was a really nice facility at USC. Look forward to seeing you Friday.

12 will be there with the Banditos.

2B will be there with the Florida Hardballers. Our first game is at 11:30 on Friday! Turns out he has an AP history cumulative exam that day. I have asked the teacher if he'll let 2B take the test at an alternate time. If you don't see #14 in the MIF, then the answer was no! But he will be there Saturday.

The Lee County complex is really nice - we played there for the first time in the Florida Qualifier. But then all the fields are nice. It'll be a great tournament.

We got lucky. Friday is a teacher workday, so he won't miss anything. I hope he has to miss Monday though, that would mean semi's or finals. That would be cool.
