Dow,

How did you like the PG Sunshine West showcase? I hope you enjoyed the experience and had a lot of college looks.

Experience of a lifetime! I played on a team with 5 guys from Hawaii and I learned so much while playing the game I love. I was on the Navy team.

Dow, that's great. I had a feeling it would be a high-profile event with some top-notch players. I even know a few players here from Spokane that went.

See you in Pullman in a few weeks. R's 17u Dodgers team is on a roll lately.. won the Palouse Summer Series championship last Sunday.. they're young but talented and if they can win 60% of their games this year playing all 19u games I'd think that would be a good goal. Next year's team should consolidate the 18u Dodgers and 17u Dodgers into a really, really good team.

P.S. Did you know R is committed to pitch at WSU?

Good luck, T.

He has gone to the last two Cougar camps, and they have seen him pitch quite a few times, including against you guys in last year's PNW Championships. He made a solid offseason improvement and against G-Prep this year I was told he hit 87 on the radar gun (that even surprised me!).. cruising mid-80's or so.. so they made a scholarship offer.

I'm rooting for you to go D1, too, T. I hope you're getting a lot of contacts. Have you considered going to the Cougar camp in January? They have a GREAT field and stadium with field turf and their training facilities are first class.. even a dome for indoor baseball training in the Winter. The coaches are great and Coach Marbut
is a proven winner whereever he's gone. I think they'll be tough next year and beyond. Send Coach Marbut or the recruiter Coach Travis Jewett an email! Maybe they'll come watch you play down in Pullman.
