What do college recruiters look for as far as batting average in high school?

You will find that high school batting averages and ERA's are not of much use to the college and pro scouts. The variable if who the batter is hitting against and who a pitcher is pitching to is such a massive variable it tends to be of little positive use. Though if you have a very bad era or batting average, it could hurt you.....
