Can some of you that experienced at this explain the time line? I have a 08 graduate, playing select ball all summer, their team will attend East Cobb and Kissimee. He is also invited to Stanford Showcase and Perfect game in Ausin. If any of these schools that see him are seriously interested;will we hear from the school immediately or will we have to wait for school to start. If a school wants you to come on board, do you have to do the whole essay process? Can someone just give me their experiences?

The coach at my son's future college told us to fill out the applications, essays, ect...the same as if baseball wasn't involved. There isn't anything a college coach can do (advocate for you with the Admissions Dept.) until the completed application is submitted. If I recall correctly, there was a space or two on the application that referred to your sport and the coach with whom you've had contact.
