Our son has 4 offers, all from good schools with personable coaches. Hard decision but now we have decided on which one. The most obvious thing is to call each coach and tell them we opted with another school, right? Don't want to burn any bridges, and actually liked and respected everyone. I would be interested in hearing what have other parents advised their sons in a similar situation?

Our experience is that it's a pretty short phone call.

"Coach thanks very much for the opportunity and I appreciate the generous offer, but I've made a decision to go to whatsamattau".

A couple of good lucks and it's off to the next phone call.
