Try to find some competitive summer/winter ball to play. Preferably a team that will get some exposure. You should probably attend one or two showcases and one or two college camps. If you don't have one already find yourself a pitching instructor who can also help you with a good pitching oriented fitness program. The velocities you are quoting are fairly good for a rising junior LHP at this point.

Alot of people have told me to not pay for things and let my talent pay for itself. Also Camps and Showcases that if they would really want me they would get me there some how with no cost, If they really wanted to see me play ? do u agree?

Bender-
Sounds like you've already had some success and you've also got very good upside as a LHP. You need to be sure that is documented by those who matter.

No freebies in the college camp circuit. NCAA rules forbid this. If you've got it they will come. The question is, how much interest have you received from scouts or recruiters? If a lot, then you may be fine by just working hard this summer and seeing what happens. Sounds like you've already booked some good playing dates. If the interest level is not as high as you hoped for, then you might want to re-evaluate. Look into the costs of getting into a bigger stage such as a PG Showcase, or the WWBA Nationals in East Cobb if you want to see how you really measure up. Assuming the talent/makeup is there, more exposure equals more opportunities, equals more options to move on. Might be a very wise investment.
Best of luck.

I wondered why the baseball kept getting bigger and bigger, and then it hit me.

Sounds like you are in good shape for now. The showcases and camps are nice but not necessary this season. I do think you'll want to attend them after your junior season.

I have contacted local collegs and they have talked to my coaches and asked arond and they want to see me pitch. Like Xavier, UC, Thomas Moore, and Mount St. Joe, want me tp pitch in front of them, i have contacted alot of colleges by e mail and they have sent me fourms of college visit, and camps. Like Virginia, Dayton, UC, Xavier, and Miami(OH) sent me camp invites and i have talked to them on e mail.

Bender,
Those who matter in your case are the college coaches and pro scouts that may be interested in a LHP such as yourself, or an organization such as PerfectGame that keeps a database with info on players. It's important that they get info on you so they can keep track of your progress. If your hitting 87 now, and maybe touching 89 this summer, that's important because it indicates positive growth. Hope that answers your Q.

yes, they look at everyone that projects as a player who fits the bill.
