While there is still a lot of college baseball left to be played, many teams are done for the season.

With the new transfer rules in effect (residence requirement for DI-DI transfer), I suspect the quantity of these types of transfers will be down.

Is anyone aware DI to DI transfers already announced?

In the past, BA and PG have published them. I can't recall the timing (as they occur or at the end of the summer).

Do you have a link to the new rule?

I know the new no transfer has been passed. However, when does the actual No transfer window begin.

I believe the last time you could transfer before having to sit out a year was before the Spring season began in 2008.

Also for those still wondering. I have spoken to two player parents who were receiving the less than 25% as 2007 D1 players and the upcoming year they will continue to receive less than 25%. As 3finger stated on several occasions, mandatory 25% is incoming Freshman 2008 and beyond.

Go to Page 20. It states that as of August 1, 2008 the transfer exception for Div I baseball will NOT be available.
This puts baseball on the same footing as Men's DI basketball, Men's DI Ice Hockey and DI Football.

I guess this means an existing player CAN transfer under the "old" rules. Correct?
