I know that I have not thrown a live pitch for this varsity season, but I have still gotten some mail. I realize mail, in essence, means absolutely nothing. If I have not played yet, but will be back for the last week of the season!! (thank God)and will play a prominent role on my Senior Legion team...will that be enough to maybe interest a college (any college; D1, D2, D3, NAIA, or JC)

shppirate09, spring is not that important for college recruiting, so don't fret! What IS important is that you be in tip-top shape this summer. Don't know if you're out with an injury or what, but make sure you're playing well before being seen by colleges. I don't know how big Senior Legion is in your neck of the woods. Unless it typically gets lots of exposure to college scouts, it would behoove you to make every effort to market yourself to college programs of all levels that you're interested in. Let them know your playing schedule and ask them to come see you play. As updated information becomes available, email them again. You might also want to attend a college camp or two that you're interested in plus a PG showcase if you haven't already. Best wishes!
