The Central Florida Renegades are proud to announce the hiring of George Martin to coach the 16U squad. Coach Martin has been a staple in the 16U baseball world for the past several years competing against the Renegades. In the past he has won the Junior Olympics in Jupiter, Florida among other titles. His past teams have always been able to compete with the 18U programs in the nation.
Coach Martin will be coaching his ninth straight Junior Olympic team this season. He has placed at least one player on the USA Baseball Trial every year with six players making the actual Junior Olympic team and win gold medals.
Coach Martin is currently entering his eighth year as a paid scout for the Atlanta Braves covering the Central Florida area. He previously scouted for the Kansas City Royals for nine years.
