This is our 25th year of International Baseball
with National and State Teams of Japan, Korea, China and Australia,

December 17, the Tampa Bay Rays team will depart for Perth, Western Australia. There will be 12 games in 15 days against the Olympic and Professional players of Australia. South Africa will also join this Goodwill Series.

Coaches will be Rays scouts.

Pitchers will pitch 3-4 innings and 2 days rest. They will have 5 performances for evaluation to their future college coaches or MLB teams. "This is a test" of our pitchers for future college competition.

Last year, one of our pitchers was drafted in the 5th round [June 2008] and signed by the KC Royals. Six other pitchers will be entering strong college programs.
