I'm in the process of moving and going through all the boxes and stuff in the attic,etc...

I cannot believe how much stuff I have kept over the years - alot of it I didnt even remember having.

Original scorecards from the Polo grounds, original picture of Babe Ruth on a barnstorming trip, my dads contracts, The first Mets yearbook, dirt from Yankee stadium infield when Chambliss hit his clutch homer (I kid you not) etc...

My wife just laughs at me - and I think she should. LOL

It reminded me of a time when I once helped a friend move his personal belongings. We finally got to the attic and he had this huge box of baseball trading cards and bats and gloves. I was estatic! He told me that I could have them for helping him move. I knew I would be rich with all these old-time cards. Quickly I loaded them into my vehicle and took them home.

After sifting through these thousands of cards I separated the ones I thought to be valuable, got on the internet and checked several places including ebay just to find out that they were only worth pennies or maybe a dollar.

As it ended up I had hauled his junk home only to have to dispose of it! Frown

Knowledge is Power! Thank you Mavens and HSBBWEB!
