Paid $1.84 a gallon in a small town in Texas today. Hopefully it will stay around that or fall even more to make those out of town baseball games a little more affordable.

I think I hate you.

Still over $2.50 around Chicago and I have the unfortunate circumstance of being diesel all around...truck, boat...Still over $3.20

Ouch CPLZ. Down in southern Illinois I've seen on Gasbuddy.com it's at $1.99 a gallon. And in Waterloo, it's normally 20-30 cents higher than it is in Missouri or more. Here in Cape, gas is also around that $1.99 mark. On the road this weekend, I saw gas around the $1.85 mark in Kentucky and Tennessee..

I need to go get gas tomorrow Wink...

I was expecting more bad news about Wall Street. Frown

This is a nice trend. Maybe the markets will reciprocate in a positive direction.

Gas talk? ... in a baseball forum?

Probably time to put this to rest and get back to baseball, don't you think? Or at least move it down to the UU category. It's already moved into taxes...won't be long till politics and religion follow.

Sorry, was out in a pickup game with Obama. That man has never met a shot he didn't like. No hard fouls on him with the SS around.

I ran your question by Obama. He suggested you not move it as you likely don't have enough carbon credits in your account. Instead, he suggested it stay where it is and a liberal government watch dog agency is created to monitor. Should religion or politics be discussed, it automatically bumps the poster up to the top tax bracket.

Gotwood...I'm sure they will be happy to take all your wood, or your first born. Or, maybe they will let you wash dishes in the capital kitchen. Just be careful not to wonder off into one of those side rooms.......

Or some good stuff.

I am going out on a limb and make a guess here. The gas prices will go back up to $3 a gallon around mid to late May. Reason being is there were reports some school districts did not have enough money to buy gas / diesel for the entire school year. Once the school year is over (or close to it) then you will see prices go back up.

I hope I am wrong and they stay down but that is how you build tolerance to rising gas prices by fluctuating. Keep it at $3.50 for several months and watch people grumble. Then jack it up to $4.10 for two or three months and watch people REALLY complain and make them miss the $3.50. Then drop it down to $3.00 to make the people happy. Then slowly increase the price until you reach $3.75 and stay there until you start the process all over again.

I have way too much time on my hands - I need to get a life.

Is North Carolina making a hostile takeover bid of Kentucky now that basketball season is here?
