Thanks, TR.

I was wondering, do the artists get royalties from these streaming sites? I'm guessing so, since Derringer is recommending it.

Have fun!

There are some great radio stations around the country playing fabulous music.

WDRV FM in Chicago has an awesome program Sunday mornings from 7-10 Central time. Then click on Listen Live. Bob Stroud plays music that you never hear, but miss it when you do.

Here's another great one.
Search for on-line copies of the WLS Silver Dollar Surveys or Hit Parades.

When I was traveling in Columbus last summer, I happened to find an AM station that played awesome music, but I can't find it now. At least last summer they did not provide the capability to "Listen Live".

Somehow, I can't picture my children 40 years from now gushing over music that they currently listen to. We were and still are very blessed to grow up listening to some of the best music ever written. rockband
party YEA!!!!!!

For a not-so-great old time radio station, when I have a decent connection I listen to a high school station in Virginia. I think a lot of their stuff never broke the Billboard Top 30, but it's fun to hear some of the obscure songs again.

One of their DJs has a severe speech impediment that is irritating and hilarious to me. The kids read the news without any apparent preparation. It's pretty bad broadcasting, but I continue to listen for as long as I can stand it.

12:00 noon – 3:00 p.m. The Hall of Fame
Hits of the ‘50’s and ‘60’s and news features
like “Animal Instincts” and “Your Family
Health” with news on the hour

3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. The Blues Traffic Jam
The best of traditional and contemporary
Blues with news on the hour

7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Back in the Day
Hits of the ‘70’s and ‘80’s with news on the
hour

10:00 p.m. – 12:00 midnight The Roots
Good time American music that includes cuts
from the‘50s, ‘60s, and ‘70s as well as Blues

12:00 midnight – 6:00 a.m. Nostalgia in the Night
Great hits for the overnight hours:
Sunday through Thursday nights: Big Band
music. Friday nights: ‘50’s and ‘60’s Oldies

Have fun!
