Who are the best CC Coaches in Florida based on the following criteria?
1. Have the ability to teach fundamentals as well as manage.
2. Have a genuine interest in developing the players both in baseball skills and as a person.
3. Enthusiastic about helping players get to the next level (4 year schools).
4. Approaches practices and games in a positive, non-belittling manner.
5. A good role model and mentor.

Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Here are a few excellent choices for FLA:

Chipola, Miami Dade, Pensacola, Broward,

Brevard, Indian River, N.Fla and Lake City.

Bet Adam Loewen would select Chipola first-LOL

Agree... Chipola. Another school/coach to remember/respect is Manatee CC, with head coach Tim Hill. ...lots of success stories out of his program as well.

Gotta go with Chipola, but don't forget Seminole and Daytona Beach, great coaches and Central Florida has a great staff.

Shep Adam went there because he had to but it is a great program. Several guys are sent there by the Jays so the coaching is probably excellent.

I guess any player that goes to a Florida CC is very fortunate because we have great coaching staffs here. That's great news because my son will be attending one of those mentioned.
