I am new to posting on this site but I wanted to know where are all the florida folks. High school season is just starting and no one is talking on here.

My son's first game is this afternoon, I wish him and his team the best of luck for the upcoming season!!!!! Let the games begin.

They're all out there preparing for the season. Many northerners are itching to get started so they're here more often.

You have a son who plays ball in NW Florida? What school?

Here in Ocala we have preseason openers on Thursday and Friday then our first district game next tuesday. I have been at the field each afternoon watching the practices. This is my sons first season on varsity.

We have our pre-season "first pitch" this Friday against Edgewater in the Orlando area, followed by a game Saturday with Lake Brantley.

Same here, pre-season begins tomorrow for our boys ( Melbourne HS Bulldogs ) and it hasn't come a day too soon.

Hokie yes I do He plays for Milton High..He is just a sophmore Pitcher and outfielder.

we open with pensacola catholic on thursday and Pace high on friday.

We just played our first game yesterday-went really well-hope the rest of the season goes as well. My son plays for South Broward High School on the JV and Varsity squads.

well Hokie I dont think we wil be in danger of getting that far but you never know..We will be very young but I believe alot better this year..thursday and friday will tell me alot about our chances.Good luck to everyone on their seasons.
