Congratulations to 1B,Steven Pearce who was called up to Pittsburgh yesterday. Steven is a Lakeland, FL resident who attended Lakeland High School, Indian River CC and S. Carolina before being drafted by the Pirates in 2005. He has successful climbed the minor league ladder and is a Pirate today! Fine young man and ball player from a great family.
