Any catchers in the Sarasota area want to catch a bullpen either Saturday or Sunday this weekend? We are staying on Longboat Key downfrom Chicago and would like to get a bullpen in while down there. Make a few bucks in a half hour or so.

Fb, I wish you were nearer to Orlando. I've got a kid who may be the best catcher to come along in awhile, he a 15 yr old fr. who may take the varsity job from a jr and snr very soon. He has been invited to the jr olympic tournament in june after the coach watched a training session we had and then saw him play. Well if you are, let me know. Otherwise there is a parent of a Sarasota player on the Florida forum that may be able to help. How old is your boy?

My son is a 17 year old HS Junior. I'd love to hear from that Sarasota catcher.....funny thing is, we usually do go to Orlando.

Look up FloridaHokie, his kid plays for Sarasota. I don't know if he catches, but he may be able to help you. Good Luck

What's your schedule? He has a game at 4:00 Saturday afternoon at Charlotte HS (45 min. south), and doing a weekend campout east of town. He might be available Saturday morning. I'll ask him later today. He's always looking for a way to earn a little money.

We are in Bradenton. My 16 year old is a very strong catcher and (I think) he is free the whole weekend. I will check in an hour when he's out of school and I'll let you know.
