Anyone know of a FL JUCO that has either tryouts or open spots for hard hitting OF/developing catcher for September?

Northeast D1/D2 recruited player who had clearinghouse issues and is sure that the JUCO route is the way to go.

Any input on available spots, spring or fall tryouts, good people to speak with etc.... would be greatly appreciated.

Check out Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville, they have a new coach. Also, although they are not the strongest program St. Johns River Community College in Palatka may have late positions available. You have a PM also.

You will have to make alot of contacts. Most schools have web site where you can go on and contact the coach or athletic dept. Many florida kids who don't have the grades or want to stay draft eligible look to fl juco's as an alternative. You must get on board early as many of the programs are highly competitive. Good luck.

this website will feature links to all the schools and websites. It should be noted that Lake City and North Florida will discontinue athletics after this year.
