My son is a freshman at Saint Leo and he loves it. It was a perfect fit for him. It's a small school, so he gets the attention academically. It's not far from Tampa (20miles) so there is still things to do on the weekends.
From a baseball standpoint they are currently a team in transition. They we're consistently winning up until last year. The competition is tough in the Sunshine State Conference, but they brought in some real good young guys and a couple of transfers, so they might surprise some teams this year.
I hope this helps. Post any specific questions or e-mail me at kopromo@comcast.net and I'll be glad to help.
I have to agree with KO His son should do great there... Any of the schools in that conference play good ball.. It is a very tough conference. KO how is he doing?
Izzy, The Webbslinger is doing fine. His 1st game is Feb. 2nd at Rollins. If the Lions have a lead late he'll get his first save opportunity. It's a tough role as a freshman, but I think he'll be ready. He had some good help along the way preparing him for this.
Shoot me an e-mail (kopromo@comcast.net) and I'll keep you posted on his progress and send pics throughout the season. Moptop I'll send you team updates throughout the season if your interested.
