I will be there the 20th - the 22nd. They are having 2 different weeks and staggering the age groups. What age group are you representing? What team are you with?

Our team played OK. We lost to A FL Freeze team hitting the hell out of the ball. The weather was the biggest factor on Sunday. I was told they sent the AAA bracket home Sunday so the Major bracket could try to finish. Bertram and his brother usually do a good job for USSSA. coolgleam

Thanks, this will be my first USSSA tourney here in Florida except for the Elite 24 last year in Orlando. My family just moved here in December and although we have played 4 previous years of USSSA baseball, we do not know alot about Florida.

We were rained out Sunday which was probably a good thing since we stunk up the joint on Saturday.

Were any of the games made up after the rain out? If so, what were the results?

The AAA division was made up last weekend. The Maitland Pride beat Brevard Manatees 8-6 for the Championship. The Major division is scheduled for make up on 6-2-07.

Wow the manatees must be a strong organization. The 12u took 1st and the 11u took 2nd? Does anyone know anything about them? Where in Brevard are they located?

They're from Cocoa, Merritt Island, Rockledge, Port St. John...middle Brevard County (Space Coast). They're made up with some former Team Demarini players. Cocoa and Merritt Island are traditional LL powerhouse programs with them taking turns winning the state LL tourney over the past decade or so.
