Impressive list of players! I like Dirks and Head both but I have to give my vote to Stephen Head mainly because of him being a two way player and being able to do both effectively. I think Mississippi State's young catcher, Ed Easley will turn some heads before he leaves MSU. While Easley is a native of Mississippi, in reality he is a product of the Memphis area programs like Dulin's Dodgers.

Those are four outstanding players. Kind of depends if you're looking for a LHP, Catcher or Hitter?

I believe the top prospect in Mississippi for this year is High School RHP Cody Satterwhite.

I have to agree with Fungo however Pettway has been red hot at the plate. Easley's a good player but not quite ready for this list.
