2009 Johnson City Cardinals
High School Baseball Showcase*

“Managing the Business of Professional Baseball in Johnson City”

We are very excited to offer this opportunity for all baseball players seeking to be
seen by college and pro scouts. All 2011, 2010 or any 2009 player that has not
signed a college scholarship are invited to attend the Inaugural Johnson City
Cardinals High School showcase.

Saturday August 15, 2009 & Sunday, August 16, 2009 at Cardinal Park in Johnson City, TN
(Home of the Johnson City Cardinals and The ETSU Buccaneers)

Players attending the showcase will participate in front of College and Pro
Scouts. The format will be position instruction from pro and college coaches and
players, skills testing, and live game scrimmages. This is a two-day event. All
attendees will be invited to the Cardinals game Saturday evening as their special
guest. College scouts throughout the region will be invited too attend along with
several Pro Scouts.
In addition NCAA compliance and financial aid information will be
presented to parents. The session will cover many issues concerning
NCAA clearinghouse and scholarships. We will also have a financial aid
presentation that will cover options for potential college funding in addition
to scholarships for each of the college division levels.
