To go along with the basketball thread I thought it might be interesting to see who everyone likes to be in the Super Bowl and who they think will win it all?

I like Denver over Pittsburgh (sorry PA posters)
Since the Steelers knocked out Carson Palmer and my Bengals! Actually I think the Steelers have a good shot to win. But if I can't root for them I can't pickem!

I like Seattle over Carolina. I think Carolina's road luck is going to run out.

So I will pick Seattle (with the worst uniforms in the NFL) over Denver (one of the best uniforms in the NFL) in the Super Bowl!

Actually, I wouldn't place a wager, just hoping.

I am not going to start a Steelers - Browns war here. My brother-in-law is a huge Stillers fan and loves to let me know it. Will I be saddened if the Steelers should happen to come out on the short end against Denver? In a word, no. Mind you, Denver is not my favorite team either after John Elway did what he did to us.

Good point....the Steelers never robbed the Browns of a chance at the SB.....so root for the Steelers!!!

As an aside, Elway is much bigger in person than I imagined. Saw him down here at the HOF when he was enshrined.

My prediction is for a Panthers and Broncos Superbowl and for the Panthers to win it.

Ben Rothlisberger...after living a full life, died.

When he got to heaven...God was showing him around. They came to a modest little house with a faded Steelers "This house is yours for eternity, Ben." said God. HE Went on to say ..."This is very special; not everyone gets a house up here." Ben felt special indeed as he walked up to his new home. On his way up the porch, he noticed another house just around the corner ... It was a 3 story mansion with a Blue and Orange sidewalk, a 50 foot tall flag pole with enormous broncos logo in every window. Ben looked at God and said, "God, I'm not trying to be ungrateful, but I have a question. I was an all-pro quarterback, I hold many NFL records, and I even went to the Hall of Fame." Die hard Bears fan here, but I might have been one of the few, if only one, who didn't think the bears had what it would take to advance this year....this was hopefully just a stepping stone.

I just think the Steelers are going to win it all. Their defense is good, their running game is good and when Ben is on, he will pick you apart and go deep when you tighen up. Big stron recievers...I just like their make up. Jake the snake can be rattled with pressure and make dumb decisions...and he is no Peyton Manning and looked how unsettled he was...hmmm should be interesting IMHO

I've never been a huge football fan, but do follow teams a tiny bit. Apparently, my daughter has never participated in even that small following. She just told me "I used to be a Steelers fan - but it was just because I really liked Brett Favre".
