Thanks everyone. He was scheduled to pitch on Sunday. I was in the car driving to Louisville Sat. when he called and told me the news. He was real happy and I was/am a real proud papa. He had a rough first outing the week before but threw pretty well even in the loss. He's getting the opportunity to play and that's all you can ask for. The rest is up to him - and the opposing team's hitters! Sorry we missed it but it is a long season and we should be able to make many of his conference games.
We still pinch ourselves every now and then just to make sure.
