Thanks, the same little boy at 8 said, "I'll never be a pitcher." Smile He's been surprising me ever since! Who'd a thunk it? tater Baseball's a funny game, lots of luck involved. He's been lucky, there have been so many times where he could have fallen through the cracks but they gave him his shots and he was lucky enough to do okay. His college career is almost over and I'm just now starting to recognize some of the parents! Big Grin

From KSU website..."On the strength of Chad Wagler’s right arm, Kent State snuck past Eastern Michigan 2-1 in a pitcher’s duel. Wagler, an All-MAC First Team performer, improved to 10-3 on the year"
Congrats to Chad and my best PM buddy,IB - here's hoping we can meet in person sometime this summer as KSU makes it far into summer play. I know you're not ready for college ball to be over!

MAC update: Miami knocks Eastern Michigan out of the tourney via a 11-2 victory.

Kent starts at 1:30 versus Western Michigan.

Kent wins 4-3, knocks out Western Michigan.

Kent plays the Central Michigan / Ball State winner, Miami plays the loser and the loser of that game is eliminated.

I see Ball State as the likely victor as of the 7th inning

an interesting match-up tho, as Beals was Stricklin's coach at Kent dirol

maybe kinda subconsciously anticipating that match-up,
I asked Beals yesterday if he'd taught Scott EVERYTHING he knew - - -
he just smiled . . . or maybe was he grimacing???

we'll see Smile

Beeze, I like the new avatar - - but, without my glasses it could EASILY look like a CCC Crusader 14
