Tonight is the final of the Kentucky state baseball tournament. It pits the underdog Shelby County Rockets, who started the playoffs with a record of 11-14, having lost 9 straight games, and have gone 9-1 in the playoffs against the Dunbar Bulldogs, who have been ranked #2 in the state all year leading up to the playoffs.

This appearance by Dunbar marks the 5th straight year that a team from Lexington has played for the championship, and it is Dunbar's 2nd trip in that time.

Good luck to the Dogs! I can't imagine Shelby County still has pitching by this point. But.... it's never over until it's over!!
