jmepop, I'm so sorry, but I just double posted your good news. I made a separate thread before I realized you'd posted here. I'm going to leave it separate also if that's ok. Just because I want to and because I'm a mom and can do that!! LOL

I did not post on this for fear of angering the baseball gods...but the season is now over.
JT, Jr had a nice season for a team that had the best season (32-13) in school history...and took third in the NCAA D3 South Region tournament. Summer ball starts in two weeks and he can't wait.
Best of luck to all those still playing and awaiting their conference tournies this upcoming week.

Nobody wants to anger them JT and they still get angry What a great season Lynchburg College had and what a great season Jeffery Taylor Jr. had Sad that it is over but many exciting things this summer to look forward to!
Hard to believe that some conferences have already been decided and some kids years are already over. We are looking ahead to conference tournament this week and looking forward to regionals. Our team has never been past regionals so I am asking now for the baseball gods to look favorably on us
We have already set all time records for homeruns and doubles in a season and probably will set the all time scoring record this year as well as OBP which is well over .400 for the team. A few pitchers nicked up so hope they get healthy. Some have us playing in Queens, Ny, Palo Alto, Ca, Ann Arbor, Michigan, or Myrtle Beach. I'll take any one of them.
Good luck to all our HSBBW boys that have yet to begin their tourneys! Wishing 'em all good luck, but especially those senior guys. Special moments for them all!

Best of luck to all the boys that are still playing. This is a great time of year. Most of the classes and and exams are over and now its 100% baseball. Sure wish we were still in it but the baseball gods were looking the other way for Lafayette this year. One more year left, sure hope next season goes longer than this one did.
Will definitely be following the tourney's to see who gets the thrill of heading to the regionals.
Go everybody.

Certainly I was rooting for Lafayette jmepop. You have to send out your props to Bucknell however. Perhaps the two hottest teams coming down the stretch were the service acadamies and Bucknell took it to both of them.
I would have bet money that Army was going to win the championship. We took 3 of 4 from Bucknell this year and lost 3 of 4 to both Army and Navy. Although I didn't get to see the Bucknell series I was convinced that Army was the best at the end of the year. Bucknell did it with experience. The seniors came through when it counted and they should be congratulated. For the pride of the Patriot League I hope they do well in the regionals.
