I coach a team from chesapeake, Va. That played canfield h.s. in Myrtle beach at the Hawaiian tropic 2 tournament. They beat us 5 to 1 in the semis and I was curious how their year is going. They had a couple of kids who could play and a pitcher last name Baker who could bring it and I was told signed with university of Pittsburgh. Just looking for a update on them.

Canfield is 27-4 and will play their next game Th. in the Div. II State Semi-Finals vs. Steubenville.

04 Parent, Thanks for the update. A very solid club. We lost Saturday in the state championship game 5 to 3 to Notre Dame academy who was also in Myrtle beach the same week. tell anyone you see from the school I wish them luck.

Canfield won their regional tournament and will be making a trip to state.

I am a 1977 graduate -- from a team that went 26-1 and lost in the regional semis....of course, we had one aluminum bat back then! This year's group sounds very talented.

If I am not mistaken, their regional final game was a short one -- a 14-0 victory.
