Just returned from a great trip to the big south tournament in Asheville where I got to see our senior third baseman from Coastal (not to mention any names, CD)contribute with the only thing he had yet to achieve-an inside the park home run. It was defintaely worth the price of admission. clap

Ditto!

I'm hopeful that their games will be broadcast more in my area. I got to see some bits and pieces last year! Love catching the HSBBW kids in tourney time!

Hey congrats to that bulldog from Florida who started and won two games for us in the tournament.

I noticed the Big South was written in lower case letters. I guess I'll leave it to others to analyze the psychology of that Big Grin

Everyone was really hoping that CC would be NOT be in the Chapel Hill regional. We were hoping you guys would be in Clemson or Greenville. Why? Because we all know how darn good you are. I hope the Heels advance obviously. But if we dont I hope its Coastal. Good luck

Thanks Coach May! All the best to your son Jeff in the future! I know how hard it has been from first-hand experience! He'll look back on this year as a blessing however. I checked some stats over there at UNC and saw the other freshman catcher got 40 AB's. You tell me, was it worth it to give up a year of eligibility for 40 AB's? Our catcher last year - Dock Doyle was a redshirt and became a 5th rounder last year and Johnny Bench finalist. The redshirt year netted him several hundred thousand dollars and his Dad will tell you that.

As Coach Gilmore has been preaching, we got our hands full with Kansas who was outstanding this season in the Big 12. We start looking past them toward UNC and we'll find ourselves in deep trouble. I believe puma's son is starting the first game against Kansas.

Thanks CD. I really appreciated the way Coach handled that this year. He really looked after Jeff and I do believe it was a blessing as well for many reasons. Yes Kansas is dangerous. It should be exciting and alot of fun thats for sure. Good luck and if we dont I hope you do.

Thanks CD for the clip. I had not seen it. Best of Luck to all the boys in the Regionals. Kansas has quite a resume-swept Texas and OSU, beat ARK and AZ ST, 2/3 at Oklahoma and vs. K. State. Yikes!!! And that's before we even have a shot at UNC. It's all good. Great baseball to be played everywhere all weekend.
