I'm not sure if you guys realized this but besides the OH/KY/PA/WV forum, there are other forums on this site. Honest!
Just curious where, besides this one, you tend to read & comment. If not here, I tend to look at the Pre-HS, General, Recruiting, Men/Ladies and then I'll lurk in Pitching, hitting and coaching.

I keep up in the General Forum, After High School, Going Pro and a few others. I scan most all forums everyday and probably have contributed to each forum on the site at least one time.
I like spending time here because we have built this one from scratch and it feels comfortable. This is the place where everyone knows your name - Cheers
I do visit the General Forum, the Recruiting Forum, and the Ladies Forum. I have enjoyed the After Highschool Forum, but for some reason, since it moved, I forget about it. Also, like to scan from time to time other state/regional forums, especially if I see one of my favorite posters have posted there.
However, there's no place like home!

I've been reading these forums for awhile and tend to get alot of info all over these forums. I start here because of my intrest in " our backyard". I still have a couple years before I have to start picking your brains on info reguarding the next step, but for now I'll keep reading up and try to gather as much info as I can.

Thanks, to an outsider it would seem almost everyone on this forum is related or has known each other for years. Sort of like the family away from home...

Ruste - I think I welcomed you in the other thread on the Pittsbugh hs report but welcome again
Actually, many of us have only been members for a little over a year. Thus, it doesn't take that long to feel like you have been apart of this for a long time. I never thought I would be involved with a message board until I stumbled across this one. A wonderful community where you can establish contacts and friends across the nation and the world for that matter. Please feel free to start your own topics at anytime relating to whatever might be on your mind
Beezer, my son Zak playes for West Allegheny HS. He is a 15 yr old soph. He also plays for the Richmond Braves 08 travel team. We are in our 3rd year of travel baseball and would have it no other way. Western Pa. isn't known for it's baseball so we had to start traveling. I'm not complaining but it would be nice to hang out by my own pool for the summer instead of giving my money to all the hotels along the eastern seaboard for the last 3 summers. I will say that going to some of the tourny's we have been to has definatly helped Zak get better. When you are consistantly playing top caliber athletes it seems to raise the level of play. He also plays football for the same school. Getting cabin fever in a big way, but still have to wait for this winter weather to be gone so we can hit the diamond.

Zak played with them last year and the year before. They did very well. They won the first elite 16 in disney at 13, and he played for BV red and the Richmond braves last summer. We are playing just for the RB08 this summer.

Then we were probably bumping shoulders in Morgantown but my son is younger and they played against the 12u BV team. that's a heck of a hike to "home" games.

Thanks luvbb, I'm originaly from Ohio, moved to florida for ten years, and ended up in Pittburgh. A little rough considering I'm a Cincy fan who drives a toyota and works at a steel mill. A little to the far left on how it supposed to be. Don't like jumbo and it took awhile for me to get the "pop and soda " down right. The only thing I'm sure of is I love the game of baseball and the football in western pa. is great to watch.
