I want a re-count. The guy carried a team that was not supposed to go anywhere.

Besides I heard that he had the best curls in the conference.

Not anymore Randy....after driving 9 hours to Ann Arbor today...I was greeted by my son sporting a MOHAWK!!!!! Seriously! The curls are gone...team bonding today...the team "styled" my son's hair! LOL. It's only hair, right?

Coach Merc...you know...YOU found out about Joe before I did! Being in the car all day, I had no idea. Actually, Joe didn't know either until the Big10 banquet tonight. Sure glad he waited until AFTER the banquet to let the guys cut his hair!

By the way, you'll enjoy this - did you see who got D3 player of the year?? Who else but Zach. Word has it that he's going to be drafted this year. I know he's really worked hard for it. Should be interesting since it's so much harder to come out of a DIII and make it.

Well Beezer...wish I had a better result to report....but being an "Ohio-ite" yourself you "might" be happy to hear that PSU got spanked by OSU yesterday to put us into the loser's bracket. Hat's off to OSU's "Big10 pitcher of the year" Luebke who pitched a PHENOMENAL game vs. PSU yesterday. We beat Luebke last Friday night...but couldn't do it yesterday. So, today we face Iowa in the loser's bracket. HOPEFULLY with better results.

Well...we live to play another day. Beat Iowa 5-3 today. Waiting now to learn who we play tomorrow...will be either Ohio State (for the 6th time in 8 days!), Minnesota or Michigan...or so I'm told!
