Well we couldn't believe it - and we were in his apartment when he found out! A few real crazy days to get everything ready to move - wife, 3-month old daughter, car, etc. We were glad we were there to help out and share the excitement.
I guess a player always knows it can happen but I don't think they (or the family) are really prepared for the excitement, chaos, and emotions involved in moving to a new team. The Indians were great in getting everything arranged.

Let me know and I'll be there too! Oh....wait...you WERE inviting others, right??? We can get a few others from around the area that post here that I know of to come as well.
I think they're done at home this year so hopefully next year we can see him in action.

That sounds like a plan but only if Beezer is not going
Seriously, that sounds like fun and they have one of the nicest parks in minor league baseball.
They just interviewed Connor on the Michael Reghi show here in Cleveland. They asked him if the Indians were his favorite team growing up and he kind of chuckled and said it was the Cubs
They asked him if he was a power pitcher at 6-6 and 230 lbs. He said he felt that was a fair assessment as he likes to work off his fastball Said he is really looking forward to getting back to Ohio! Nice young man!
Everyone's invited but I'll need a count if I am to supply beverages!
Aeros have about 20 more home games this season.
Well I stand corrected!!! I could've sworn I heard on the radio that they were playing their last games at home in this series. Because I thought that seemed REALLY early to be done! Oh and knowing CD and <bee, I don't think you will be allowed to purchase a single beverage. We'd love to have an excuse to purchase beverages and to honor Connor's advancement seems perfectly logical to me! Bee, can you smuggle in some of the stuff in the freezer....and keep it that cold???
CD - I just noticed what you wrote. I'm hurt. I thought you were my boy, mi compadre???

My husband and son met Connor and 04Parent back in 2003 at a Perfect Game event, and said they were great folks, very nice. I hope to get to watch Connor pitch some day.
